Langé Laboratories is proud to introduce our innovative banish products. The word banish, connotes a "forced departure, removal or sending away." The new banish products were specifically researched and developed so you can say 'good-bye' to your skin care problems!

In our research, we've found a remarkable active ingredient called Sira-Lanka, which is a nature plant source of the cinnamon family. Sira-Lanka has the exceptional ability to correct the imbalance of oily, acne-prone skin. Two other noteworthy ingredients we have incorporated into our formula are hyaluronic acid and glycolic acid.

Does the word "acid" scare you? Hyaluronic "acid" is actually a constituent of human and animal connective tissue. Two of its remarkable functions are to promote (wound) healing and to protect body from external infections. Glycolic "acid" (derived from the pineapple sugar) helps to slough off dead skin cells and stimulate new skin cell growth. Dead skin cells come to the surface of the daily, and, when not removed, pores become clogged and seal in skin irritants. Also, when the cells clog the pores, we can theorize that the pores suffer a lack of oxygen and become larger in order to "breathe."

Our Lange banish products are capable of providing "natural" oil control, while maintaining t skin's moisture level. Many products on the market contain peroxide to help dry up oily skin which we believe, may contribute to other skin problems by disturbing the skin's acid mantle.

The Banish cleanser is formulated without fragrance and is, therefore, ideal for all types of skin. As it gently cleanses impurities (grime, makeup, etc.) from the skin, it also helps protect the skin's acid mantle and moisture level.

The banish moisturizer has two different formulas, one for Normal to Oily skin and one for Normal to Dry skin.

The Normal to Oily formula is designed for skin that has an overall "shine," indicating excessive oiliness. As they mature, some adolescents may be acne-prone. We attribute this, not to chocolate or greasy junk food, but to overactive sebaceous glands. Result: What is commonly referred to as "teenage acne." However, teenagers do not have a "lock on the market" when it comes to acne. Hormonal changes can also spontaneously "trigger" the sebaceous glands to secrete excessive oils in men and women well into their 20s, 30s and 40s (and older).

The Normal to Dry formula is designed for skin which is oily around the nose and forehead (commonly referred to as T-Zone). Here we're talking about mature skin. You've left puberty behind, right?
